Q1] In the last line, what did the writer mean by suggesting that " he may have found more porcupines than rats?"

In the speech of senior minister Goh Chok tong we learn that we Singaporean are divide into two categories which is rat and porcupine.Rats are those who scared of the aggressor and would not stand up for Singapore;Porcupine are those who stood up bravely and fight for Singapore and chase off the intruders or maybe terrorist in the right term.What the writer mean is most Singaporean are coward and only waiting what the government and not what people can help the government.

Q2] What's worth giving up your life?

What's worth giving up is my dreams.I believe everybody has dreams, some are good some are bad. My dream is to be a great runner or getting a job which involve maths,science and sports. A marine biologist or a paleontologist are one of my choices.But before acquire any dream i need to have some basic skill like running speed,stamina,math skills,science skills as well as reading skills. Dreams can change a person's destiny and your determination will increase and it is a lot of hard work before a dreamcan come true. Dreams can also win a person's mind like what we normally say 'mind over body'

Q1) Why Coral Secondary School forbids students to idle around near their school in their school uniform? The principal of the school said hat they want to emphasis on inculcating in their student to exercise good habit like using the time prudently.One of the student said that she think that the school rule is set must be to let the student to keep out of troubles like gang or drug addicts

Q2) Do you agree with this rule?Explain your answer. I agree with the principal's rules as he cares about the safety of his students and he does not want the school's name to go down the drain. The intention of these rules is to teach students to control their time in school and at home and to let them have time towards homework and studies. Some parents also disagree with the teachers and sometimes help them disobey orders.It saddens me to read about these kinds of stories as i am a student who does his work obediently and does not disobey orders especially from parents and teachers.

Q1:What was Jack Neo's vocation when he was serving the nation?
Jack Neo's vocation was as a infantry officer as he signed up for that. He became the Army's Music and Drama Company's quartermaster. Not only handling these jobs, he also did part time acting, emceeing, singing and even comedy skits on TV and live theatre and getai shows. He also conducted drama training classes, produced karaoke comedy albums and published a comic book.

Q2:"Hard work leads to success".
Hard work does lead to success. People who cheat are always thinking whether it was the right thing to do. In school ,people cheat by telling or even threatening people to help them to their work because they want high marks.Some people even peek at other people work and copy from them. its the same with gaming, people cheat as they could not level up fast enough and want to equal with their friends.Although luck is always there, there is both good and bad luck.Without hard work no one will able to succeed unless they were born in a wealthy family;they won a lottery;something that will make them rich or they cheated. Human being always ignore hard work and thinking about luck so they have probably less than 5% chance they would success.If everyone ignore hard work and just thinking about luck ,one day the economy in the world will encounter a more serious problem than the money crisis we are having now.

Q1:How did the teenager trespass into Singapore Island Country Club?

Q2:Is underage drinking correct?Explain your answer.

A1: One of the youth's girlfriend told the the reporter that they were taking a walk in a forested area near Mac Ritchie reservoir to see the monkey after a night of drinking at VIVO city.After that,they were finding their way out of the forest but there was no sign showing the way and because of that they trespass into the Singapore Island Country Club.

A2:I think underage drinking is wrong as it can cause the drinkers to get drunk and do things that he does not want to do.It can make him have sex with someone in his unconscious state,which could cause him to get infected with AIDS from the infected person.
Underage drinking could also cause the drinker to steal things and shoplift from stores.If the drinker steals a car,he or she could cause an accident in his drunken state.When the police catches him or her,the person would get arrested for drink driving and for not having a driver's licences.
